From ADA-compliant detectable warning tiles and wayfinding systems to other custom-engineered surface solutions, ECI has provided customers across various industries with reliable and durable product results.

In one recent successful project, we assisted a leading provider of ADA tiles that was facing quality issues with their previous manufacturer. We helped optimize the unique product features of the design for better manufacturability, changing flanges to improve both product installation and performance. The result was less warping – better fitment, fewer rejected parts – along with reduced product weight.

Our integration of in-house tooling was instrumental in this project, enabling ECI to make rapid modifications to tooling and improve product manufacturability.  We were able to insert the tools with new chrome bars and eliminate the part features that caused the problem of excess warping, ultimately achieving a 30% reduction in scrap rate.
